We invite you to participate in this exciting opportunity to partner with us in the development and installation of our school. The Metropolitan Preparatory Academy is a private high school that specializes in educating returning students and those students who have difficulty matriculating through the traditional high school setting. In 2006, more than 167,000 students were unable to realize high school completion in the state of Texas.
Our mission is to provide the best instruction possible, with an emphasis on building character through community development.
To realize this mission, we have established the following objectives:
-
To provide excellent classroom training for students in educational crisis.
-
To provide training to students that facilitates an awareness of technology and communication.
-
To provide an environment that is conducive to the social development of students, with emphasis on interaction within group settings, employing group dynamics and teamwork.
-
To merge social, community, aesthetic venues for maximum development impact.
-
To utilize the most successful, spiritual development tool to build and strengthen
the overall social and economic fabric of the community.
The Metropolitan Preparatory Academy utilizes a nationally recognized curriculum as its system of instruction. This system of instruction is self-paced and meets the requirements of the NCAA Clearinghouse, The United States Army, United States Navy, and colleges and universities that receive the Title IV funds.
Proverbs, Chapter 22, verse 6 states:
“Train a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
