Our Projects

Project 1. Redemption Community Park

This wooded acreage is surrounded by economically-disadvantaged and low-income families that live in trailer home parks and apartments. During Phase I, we have installed a basketball goal, a volleyball net, and a funnel ball goal.  During Phase II, we will install additional playground equipment as funds allow.  We are seeking funds to assist with this project, and the renovation of the Community Center.  Our goal is to assist the community in providing hands-on education, recreation, management and conservation opportunities for at-risk youth and their families who would not otherwise have the chance to learn about, explore and enjoy our natural and cultural resources.

Project 2. Food Pantry

Our mission is to provide support and feed hungry families in the Northwest Houston area.  We seek to be a bridge of hope for some and a life-line for others.

The food pantry distributes food on Saturdays from 9:00am until noon and on Thursdays from 10:30am until 1:00pm. We service approximately 140 families weekly which represent an average of over 500 people.
